Lou GenoveseOK, so it may not be your first question, but you may come to wonder "what's one27 anyway?"

Really it's just me being stubborn, or different, or I missed the memo, but there are 1001 (a million?) businesses that use the owner name as the business name. I have no problem with that. It is their show after all. For me, I just never liked the sound of it, so I needed to come up with something else.

Also, now you have no reason to forget my birthday! Feel free to send a card when January 27 comes around.

Anyway...

I have been enchanted by the power of a great photo for as long as I can remember. There is a special magic that comes with the only way I've ever found to stop time.

I got my first camera when I was about 12, and began with making images of nature and landscapes. As I grew I began to appreciate the power of the expression on a person's face, whether that be one of elation, frustration, contentment, or despair.

I spread my time among a myriad of active pursuits including hockey and mountain biking, but I always have a camera at the ready. You never know when you'll need to stop time.
